From DevOps analyst to founding engineer.

I started as a DevOps analyst, setting up infrastructure for a new B2C e-commerce division. From there I moved into early-stage startups, first as a founding engineer and then as a technical lead, where the job is to decide what to build as well as to build it.

At Symbl I work directly with the founders: we decide the product and iterate on feedback, and I own the platform underneath it, including AWS, delivery, observability, networking, security and cloud costs. I build the first version of what we need myself, then delegate with access I grant, oversee on staging, and step in when things escalate. For the mobile apps, the developers build them and I manage the builds and releases through the App Store and Play Store until they are live in production.

I use AI coding tools to move faster on implementation. The design decisions, trade-offs and operational responsibility stay with me.
