Work
Systems I have built and run.
Seven projects across two companies: cloud platforms, internal products, developer environments and infrastructure migrations. Each one has a case study with the problem, the decisions, my part, and what happened.

Operating the platform behind Symbl
As Technical Lead I own the cloud platform behind Symbl: approximately 7–8 AWS environments, reusable Terraform, GitHub Actions delivery to ECS/ECR with releases under six minutes, observability, networking and security, billing, and incident response.

Building an internal WhatsApp operations dashboard
I researched and selected an open-source tool, adapted it substantially for Symbl’s workflows, integrated Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform, took it to production with its domain and routing, and handed it to the development team for CRM integration.

Product Engineering · Internal tools
From clinical recommendations to a customer-ready comparison
An internal tool that turns a care expert’s recommendations into a unique comparison page for the customer, locks their selection, and hands them to Symbl’s WhatsApp with a prefilled message. I built it from scratch and shipped it. The development team later integrated it into the CRM.

Adapting an open-source platform into Symbl’s B2B catalogue
I researched and selected an open-source CRM/application as a starting point, adapted it for Symbl’s B2B use case with a custom frontend and backend, and took it live as the B2B entry point.

Developer Infrastructure
Rebuilding the developer environment stack
Interactive developer environments exposed the limitations of the existing Azure AKS and vCluster approach. I contributed to the move to bare-metal Hetzner infrastructure running K3s, alongside a new GitHub Actions-based delivery workflow.

Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Architecture
Moving core infrastructure across cloud boundaries
Migrating CDN, object storage, and databases from Azure toward Cloudflare R2, D1, and Workers, alongside multi-region bare-metal Kubernetes infrastructure on Hetzner.

Developer Tooling & Platform Engineering
Building an interactive AWS training platform
Designed and implemented an interactive AWS training platform by extending LocalStack to replicate and support core capabilities associated with LocalStack Pro, integrated into a custom frontend and backend.
